Calvary is a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. We accept the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the verbally inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16 and 2 Peter 1:21) in all their parts and words. The Bible is a dynamic, living Word to change people’s hearts and lives. We believe in the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—Three in One. We believe that Jesus, the Son, died and rose again for our sins, and that through Him and Him alone we are forgiven, saved, and made children of God. We believe in Holy Baptism as a means whereby God makes us His own, planting in us the seed of faith, giving us His Holy Spirit, and washing away our sins. We believe in the Lord’s Supper as a means by which God strengthens our faith by giving us the true body and blood of the Lord Jesus in, with, and under the bread and wine.
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved. Mark 16:16
